Corporate Gift: A Symbol of Gratefulness
from:
Someone has extended paramount help to you. You think a simple thank you is not enough to express your gratitude. What more can you give?
A gift, indeed!
A gift is something that is being given without asking anything in return. This is usually given as a symbol of appreciation or thoughtfulness. Nowadays, gift-giving is not just for close family members or friends. It is also being given by company owners who wish to extend their gratefulness to their employees or significant clients. This is what we commonly hear as the corporate gift.
Corporate gifts are not solely an expression of gratitude. It also denotes verification of business relationship. Additionally, it boosts the personal bond between the giver and the receiver.
There are decorum’s to consider when you want to bestow a corporate gift to noteworthy clients and valuable employees.
Aptness – the gift giver should consider the occasion. The gift should not be a way to overwhelm the recipient. Of course, you will not give a basketful of chocolates to someone who hates chocolates or to someone who has diabetes.
Recipients’ character – the personality of the recipient should be considered. Will the gift be useful to the receiver or not? A well-chosen gift signifies giving importance to the receiver. It should not just denote a manner for the purpose of just giving gifts.
Perfect Time – in the bestowment of gifts to employees, the perfect time is the holiday season. On the other hand, significant clients can also be given corporate gifts on the office anniversary or the day you have officially made business with them.
Gift Presentation – gifts should be handed over with a personal touch and care. Thus, careful gift wrapping should be considered. How or where it will be given should also be well thought-out.
Personalizing – do you plan to put the company logo or not? Some company owners want the logo to be present in every corporate gift. To some this indicates a form of advertisement.
Now, you have the idea of the proper way to present corporate gifts. Have you thought of the things you will have to give? Here are some corporate gift suggestions:
• Food. It may be either be fruits, chocolates, or exotic delicacies. When choosing food as a corporate gift, the giver should consider the importance of the food gift. Presentation of the gift should be artistic to give it a personal touch.
• Wines. There are wide selections of wines. You as the giver should consider what type of wine is consumable and appealing to the recipient.
• Office supplies. Most common corporate gifts for employees are office supplies such as pen and paper, mouse pad, paper weights and more.
• Gift certificates. A well-loved corporate gift. The recipient will have the freedom to choose which item he would want to purchase. However, there is a limited amount to gift certificates. Sometimes gift certificates are as well restricted to a certain shopping mall or grocery store.
Half your corporate gift-giving plan is over and done with. You will now mull over where to purchase the specific gift you wish to bequeath. Some of the places where you can choose, buy and make a good deal for corporate gifts are:
• Merchandise manufacturer.
• Retail stores.
• Corporate give-away distributors.
Your gift – size does not matter. The most important factor is how you made your recipient feel important aside from plainly uttering thank you.
